FOUNDER AND CEO
Ron has over 30 years of industry experience, including 20 years as a sales and marketing executive. He has also been involved in many charitable organizations such as Relay for Life, Rotary Club, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and now myTEAM TRIUMPH, which he founded with a group of dedicated volunteers.
In addition, he has also competed in multiple triathlons and road races for the past 10 years. “I’m pretty slow. In fact, they time me with a calendar!”
It is his passion and vision of partnering with children, teens, adults and veterans with disabilities that led him to form myTEAM TRIUMPH, Inc. “Our lives are a gift from God. What we do with our lives is the gift we give back to God”.
Ron is responsible for the organization’s strategic vision as well as its day-to-day operations. “I have been blessed with a great team of people. If not for them, this dream would have never become a reality.”
Dana is a certified public accountant and currently works in the Supply Chain organization at Steelcase Inc. She enjoys mountain biking, playing soccer and participating in running races and triathlons. She is the proud mom of two boys and looks forward to the day when they run beside her as myTEAM TRIUMPH Angels.
Dana participated as an Angel in myTEAM TRIUMPH’s first triathlon and has been honored to participate in several more events since then. “I look forward to meeting the Captains and seeing the joy on their faces throughout the race course. During each event there are plenty of smiles and happy tears.”
Inspired by Dick and Rick Hoyt, Dana is looking forward to the day when myTEAM TRIUMPH chapters will be found throughout the country pushing and pulling participants on any given weekend during the year.
Tom is a certified public accountant, tax attorney, and triathlete.
During the summer of 2008, he used his athletic abilities as an Angel for two different Captains. More recently, Tom was among a small group of myTEAM TRIUMPH devotees that organized the participation of four Orlando-area Captains in the 2010 Great Clermont Triathlon. He now continues his commitment to myTEAM TRIUMPH and incorporates his professional abilities as its Treasurer.
Within this role, Tom works behind the scenes to maintain the myTEAM TRIUMPH finances. He also works with Ron to translate the organization’s long-term strategic vision into its week-to-week financial goals.
Originally from Kalamazoo, Jeremy is a graduate of Calvin College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and is working on a Masters Degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University . He is a Certified Public Accountant, currently working for Plante & Moran, PLLC in the tax department. Jeremy has also served as Finance Deacon for his church. He enjoys reading, running and relaxing with his wife, daughter and dog (see attached photo – awwwwww).
Jeremy said, “I had recently spoken with a co-worker about the possibility of getting involved with a non-profit organization. Within a week or two of that conversation, Ron came up to me at church and said, ‘You’re probably too busy for this, but do you know of anyone who might like to be involved as treasurer of myTEAM TRIUMPH’. I couldn’t ignore this opportunity and told him I would love to hear more, and that I thought I might be able to do this rather than find someone else. After talking to Ron and Tom later that week I was in. I have been truly blessed, and I look forward to serving for and with this organization that is such a blessing to so many.”
